Forest Sector Outlook
UNECE/FAO analyses structural developments in the sector and produces studies of the long-term outlook for supply and demand for wood and the other goods and services of the forest, and the development of forest resources, in light of the challenges facing the forest sectors. Outlook studies are produced for the use of policy makers and analysts, as well as civil society and private sector decision makers.
During the period 2008-2013, the Team of Specialists on Forest Sector Outlook will bring together the expertise and ideas of national experts to develop a new European Forest Sector Outlook Study, and links with a North American and Russian Outlook study.
